New Grapes

New Grapes

We’ve had great weather. Lots of rain with sunshine in between so everything has sprung into life. With everything growing so quickly this has meant tireless work cutting grass, pruning and tying the vines. These particular grapes are a white eating variety that we have in the vineyard. They just looked so great and abundant I had to photograph them. We look forward to reaping the fruits of our labours!

From dawn to dusk the olive collecting never ceases

These are some white eating grapes that we have in the vineyard.

It’s a great time of year where there appears to be a great balance between rain and sunshine and everything bursts into life. It gives a feeling of hope for the future.

We need to cut the grass around the trees but we like to try to keep it to a minimum to leave as many wild flowers as possible. Only cutting under the trees.

Poggio Piero Unfiltered Olive Oil

We leave a field uncultivated to allow meadow flowers to grow, including borage and poppies which are just beautiful.
