Last Olive Tree

Last Olive Tree

This was the last tree of this year’s olive harvest, it looked so cute we thought we’d photo document ‘it’s’ olive harvest.

Rudy being as helpful as ever. I think he thinks the nets are there for his comfort!

We’ve been led to believe these are an edible variety of olives. Anyway, we’ll let you know as we’ve conserved them in salt water and should be ready in 2-3 months.

And then there were none! after two weeks (and a bit) work we decided to stop. We don’t spray our trees so during the harvest the race is always on to get the olives in before the flies get in them, as all too soon too many of the olives would be affected by insects. Anyway it was a very good year and we had a good crop of olives.

We were happy! and you can be too with a 500 ml bottle of olive oil direct from us. Grab one (or two) from our online shop and try the goodness for yourself.

Last Olive Tree

This was the last tree we harvested in 2018.
Why not try some of our oil?
